We start with a delicious cauliflower soup served with homemade croutons and a sprinkle of parsley
Duo of Sea and Land, Tempura style
A superb, flavoursome Shitake mushroom filled with minced prawns.
Butterflied scallop with padano cheese.
All accompanied by a seasonal refreshing salad.
Our next dish that we would like to present for your enjoyment comprises slow cooked beef short ribs which have been allowed to infuse with a depth of flavour over two days. It is served with potato and celeriac mash, carrots and a Japanese radish.* (Vegetables are seasonal and will change)
Finally the dessert we have chosen to compliment your meal is a citrus and yuzu panna cotta with a citrus reduced sauce that is served with a beautiful white peach and a sprinkle of walnuts, pistachios in a sweet syrup.

This innovative way of dining combines 1 table, 8 people,1 chef . Your personal chef cooks solely for your enjoyment a selection of food that is inspired by Japan and Korea. The main focus is on the fifth taste, UMAMI.
All the sauces and stocks have been made from high quality ingredients sourced locally from the Yarra Valley and imported from Japan and Korea.
The menu changes seasonally or according to the market.
This exclusive dining experience is only available at Deloraine Homestead and must be booked in advance. We only take bookings of eight people for this culinary adventure.
In winter, dining will be in our beautiful dining room, but as the weather warms up diners will be asked if they would like to eat outside in our pavilion over looking the lake with magnificent views of the Yarra Valley. Sunsets will amaze you.
Diners are encouraged to gather together like minded friends to form a group booking.
