After a recent knee reconstruction I decided to treat myself to a week in the Yarra Valley. I chose Deloraine Homestead because it looked peaceful and luxurious. After speaking to Peta on the phone to make my booking I was very reassured that I had made the correct choice.
Everything was beyond my expectations. I stayed in the Jacaranda Suite where I felt very indulged. I could retreat in the afternoons for gentle exercise and a rest. Peta also organised a massage therapist to visit me and give me gentle massage on me leg to help with stretching.
I had breakfast in the beautiful Victorian dining room every morning which was very satisfying and well presented.
One afternoon some friends came to visit and Peta served us afternoon tea on the verandah overlooking the Yarra Valley. Peta had made the scones and cakes and served it to us on beautiful bone china. No one wanted to go home.
I have booked in to have my 80th birthday here and look forward to a great day and showing people the warm welcome that you get from Deloraine Homestead.
